Clawson Resident Named Marketing Manager at Credit Union

ROSEVILLE, Mich., (May 24, 2012) – Christian Financial Credit Union announced today that they have hired Rebekah R. Johnson to serve as marketing manager. Johnson comes to Christian Financial from Franco Public Relations Group in Detroit, where she worked as an account executive.

As marketing manager, Johnson is responsible for managing implementation of strategic marketing and PR plans to facilitate organizational growth and meet targeted goals. She is also responsible for maintaining and expanding community partnerships, launching new products and services and applying new concepts to further the reach of the credit union into the marketplace.

Johnson has more than five years of experience in the public relations and marketing fields. Prior to working at Franco Public Relations Group, she spent several years as communications coordinator for Michigan Opera Theatre in Detroit.

She received her undergraduate degree in marketing from Wayne State University and her master’s degree in public relations from Michigan State University. In 2010, Johnson was honored as one of Crain’s Detroit Business’ “20 in their 20’s.”
