Catch A Glimpse of This Weekends Supermoon

A Supermoon is a stunning display of the heavens above Earth for night sky enthusiasts. According to timeanddate.com on Sunday Dec 03. the Supermoon will be visible for the Northern Hemisphere. A Supermoon is a full or new moon that occurs when the center of the moon is less than 360,000 kilometers from the center of Earth.

Since the moon is closer to the Earth during a Supermoon the moon will look about 7% larger than your average full moon. If the weather permits it is a spectacular sight to behold.
