Clawson Girl Scouts Selling Cookies, Setting up Booths This Weekend
Local troops will sell the famous treats through late March.

Have you been craving Trefoils, Thin Mints, Samoas or Lemon Chalet Cremes?
You're in luck. It's that time of year for local Girl Scout troops to sell cookies. In fact, the Clawson troops, from Guardian Angels, Schalm Elementary, Kenwood Elementary and Clawson Middle School, are selling cookies this weekend at various locations around town.

- Ace Hardware, 1241 W. 14 Mile Rd. — 10 a.m.-7 p.m. Saturday and 10 a.m.-6 p.m. Sunday.
- Hollywood Super Market, 2670 W. Maple Rd. — 10 a.m.-8 p.m. Saturday
- Caribou Coffee, 14 Mile and Campbell — 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday.
Boxes of cookies cost $3.50 each, and the local troops will be selling them through March 20, Murphy said. Money from cookie sales will help fund trips the Girl Scouts take each year, including camping and to buffalo ranches, she said.
