Communities in Wayne, Oakland and Macomb counties figure prominently in a new listing by the real estate company Movoto of the best Detroit suburbs for young professionals.

Clawson earns the seventh place spot on the list of the best Detroit suburbs for young professionals with plenty of amenities – 633 of them – for residents to enjoy. Home buyers will find historic bungalow and craftsman style homes.

Residents ages 22-29 make up 11.6 percent of the population.
