Clawson Relay for Life Raises More Than $25,000

The results are in. The annual Clawson Relay for Life fundraiser, held May 5-6 at , raised $25,170 thanks to the fundraising efforts of local teams and individuals.

The top fundraiser was 'Team Bodyworks,' which raised a total of $3,528.59. The other leading teams were 'Roll With Us' with $3,287 and 'Team Grandpa' with $2,758.

The top five individual fundraisers were as follows:

• Tina Albano  $1,701.75
• Andrea Pike $1,615
• Margaret Conroy $1,326
• Laura Squillace $1,207.59
• Alison Taubman $971

The Clawson Relay for Life award winners were:

• Best Decorated Campsite: Madison Heights Jaycess
• Team Spirit: Team Donna
• Highest Fundraising Individual: Tina Albano
• Highest Fundraising Team: Team Bodyworks

The community is invited to a 2012 Wrap-Up Party at 6:30 p.m. Wednesday at Shield's in Troy. Shield's will donate 20 percent of your bill to Relay for Life of Clawson.
