Clawson Schools Seeking Kenwood Principal and Superintendent
District hopes to have both positions filled by the end of the school year.

The Clawson Board of Education has launched its search for a permanent principal with hopes to hire someone by the end of the school year.
The current interim principal, , was hired in the summer 2011 in place of who retired last June. Superintendent Cherly Rogers said after interviewing candidates last year, the district decided it would continue searching for someone best fit for the job.
Rogers said the district posted a job description and hope to begin screening and interviews in April.

Meanwhile, the district is reviewing input from parents, teachers and community members on selecting a new superintendent. The school board hopes to bring in at least six candidates for a series of public interviews April 16, 18 and 19. After the interviews, the board will select two or three finalists before making a final selection.
