The event is part of Clawson Youth Assistance' efforts to send low income kids to day camp or overnight camp. Mayor Penny Luebs, who is involved with Clawson Youth Assistance, said last year the organization sent about eight kids to camp and she hopes to double that number this year.
"I needed an idea to raise money that would be fun," Luebs said. "It's something different."

Luebs said in the Road Rally, participants might be required to take a photo in front of a clock at a certain time or collect carry-out menus from certain restaurants. You must solve one clue in order to move on to the next.
Luebs said she is hoping to get at least 10 teams and there will be prizes for first, second and third place winners. The cost for the Road Rally is $15 per team member and all registration fees will go to Clawson Youth Assistance. The registration deadline is May 5.
Teams will be asked to bring several items to aid them in the rally including a digital camera, map of Clawson, pens, pencils, scissors, screwdriver, tape, flashlight, compass, measuring tape and can opener.
Luebs said , of Youth Assistance, works with Clawson parents to determine which kids will receive camp sponsorship. Youth Assistance also works with the Kohl's Cares program to raise money.
"Our philosophy.... is that you make a happy kid, you make a happy family," Luebs said.
