Clawson Youth Assistance Accepting Nominations for Awards

Clawson Youth Assistance is recognizing youth who are making a difference in the community. 

On May 2, the group plans to host a Youth Recognition Awards event at . Youth Assistance is seeking nominations for "deserving youth with a pattern of service to others, perseverance in the face of challenges, or someone who deserves to be recognized for a good deed." The only exception is that nominees do community service that is not required by another organization they participate in.  

To retrieve a nomination form, contact Nancy Minckler at mincklern@oakgov.com or call Mayor Penny Luebs at 248-259-6208. Nominations are due by April 4. Nominees and nominators will both be invited to the event.
