GROSSE POINTE UNITARIAN CHURCH, whose roots in Grosse Pointe date back to the 1930’s, will launch a NEW CONCERT SERIES in support of Michigan-based talent old and young. To open the concert series the church welcomes attorney turned Boogie, Blues, & Ragtime musician, Matthew Ball aka The Boogie Woogie Kid who specializes in music from the era of the the Church’s earliest roots. Ball, who is today described as “MICHIGAN’s BEST” in Ragtime, Boogie & Blues, will perform piano favorites from the SWING DANCING DAYs of the 20s 30s and 40s this SATURDAY, OCTOBER 10th 2015 @ 7pm.

NOW with nearly 3.2 million youtube views of his past performance and at home video footage, and concerts with regular capacity crowds and standing ovations, Ball has become a local phenomenon, with descriptions of his performances like “Awesome!” “Crushing!” Fantastic!”
