1. Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men Breaks World Record, Launches Metro Detroit Foundation

• What: To launch its new foundation, Wicked Awesome Wishes, Lady Jane's Haircuts for Men is hosting a world record event on August 23rd, to break the world record for the most haircuts in 12 hours by a group of ten stylists as well as the individual record for most haircuts by an individual stylist in 12 hours. The event will run from 8 am - 8 pm at Lady Jane's headquarters in Troy (3921 Rochester Rd).

2. Michigan Art Craft Jewelry Saturday Super Sale, Laurel Park Place Mall

• Where: Laurel Park Place Mall 37700 West Six Mile Road Livonia

3.  MURDER AT THE SPEAKEASY

• When: Saturday, August 24, 2013, 7:00 PM
• Where: Ridgedale Players Theatre 205 West Long Lake Rd. Troy
• What: Ridgedale Players summer fund raiser is a SPECIAL ITLALIAN NIGHT!  Not only will you have an Italian dinner but you will also enjoy a murder mystery, MURDER AT THE SPEAKEASY! The audience meets and questions all suspects and helps solve the crime.  This promises to be a fun time for all!  Tickets are just $30 per person & must be purchased in advance.  Deadline for reservations is Tuesday, Aug. 20.
