Police Blotter: Two Thefts from Cars Reported
The following information was supplied by the Clawson Police Department.

A resident on the 200 block of Chocolay Avenue reported that someone stole items out of his car between 6-10 p.m. on Jan. 6. The victim told police he went outside to his car and discovered the center console had been tampered with.
A police report said items missing from the car were a bag of $50 in change, a wallet containing a credit card and a checkbook. There are no witnesses or suspects. Police say the car was unlocked.
Catalytic converter stolen
A Clawson man told police someone stole a catalytic converter off his 2011 Pontiac Grand Am between 6 p.m. Jan. 6 and noon Jan. 7. A police report said the vehicle was in a parking lot outside his residence on the 200 block of West 14 Mile Road when the theft occurred. The vehicle was not damaged.
