Quilt Artist, Author Lynn Harris to Hold Two Events in Clawson
The two events will take place Thursday at 7 p.m. and Saturday at 9:30 a.m.

CLAWSON, MI — Grab your pins, rulers, and sewing machines: quilt artist and author Lynn Harris will hold two different events in Clawson this week. On Thursday at 7 p.m., she'll host a lecture about her book "Every Last Piece" at the Clawson United Methodist Church. On Saturday, Harris will hold a workshop on her "String Theory" of piecing at the church at 9 a.m.
“I create textile art using the techniques employed by past generations of my family to create utilitarian objects such as clothes and quilts. While all my pieces are original designs, I turn to the geometric patterns of antique quilts for inspiration,” Harris says in her biography, Daily Tribune reports.
Harris’ beautiful quilts have been featured in international shows, gallery exhibits, and private collections around the world, according to Daily Tribune. Check out Harris' impressive work on her website.
