Voters give newcomer Ulbrich a vote of confidence, Leubs cruises to re-election

The city council in Clawson is going to look a little different as newcomer Matthew Ulbrich earned a seat in the Nov 3 election.
Ulbrich, who received just over 38 percent of the total votes cast, edged out incumbent Greg Kucera Jr., who was one of three competing for a pair of open council seats, according to an article published in C & G Newspapers.
Mayor Pro Tem Howie Airriess accompanies Ulbrich to the council after receiving 31 percent of the vote in the election.

Incumbent Mayor Penny Leubs ran unopposed and captured 97.52 percent of the vote.
