Word on the Street: What's Clawson Talking About?

Social media has evolved into a daily dose for most people. It's how we keep in touch with our friends, relatives and stay updated on what's going on around us. So today, we pulled together a list of postings from Facebook pages with a connection to Clawson. The updates were posted within the past few days. Here's the word on the street:

• Tim Burns— Spent the weekend going door-to-door in Clawson talking with people about my running for County Commissioner and asking for their vote & support. Teamed up with my friend Mary Kerwin for a few blocks to help promote her bid for State Representative as we crossed paths along the campaign trail. 300 houses down now just 14,700 more to visit before Nov 6. Say HI if you see me out walking this summer!
• Wunderground Magic, Inc.— New magazines are in - Genii, Magic, and Reel Magic.
• Clawson Rotary Club— President's Night is over and our new President has been officially installed. Best wishes to Jim Cash for a fabulously successful year as our "fearless leader."
• Đà Nẵng Restaurant— Want to learn how to make one of the dishes at Da Nang? Check out the Fox 2 morning show at around 9:45 tomorrow (Wed.) morning. Owner Kim Dao-Waldis will be preparing one of our dishes live.
• Downtown Clawson— A new mural for downtown! CHS art students submitted designs & the DDA selected. Congratulations to Harley Brown! Work begins today @ noon on the exterior north wall of Tease. Stop by & watch the progress. Thanks Dan Yell for bringing the ideas to us! Art is bustin' out in Clawson!
