Clinton Township Blood Drive A Huge Success
The American Red Cross is suffering from a winter shortage of blood, so the Clinton Township Blood Drive will help countless people.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — The Clinton Township Community Blood Drive didn't just host a blood drive. They hosted their own goal smashing blood drive, The Macomb Daily reports.
Get ready for these stats. Between Feb. 7 and 8 at five locations, donors gave a total of 280 pints of blood to the Clinton Township Community Blood Drive. That's 15 pints more than last year's blood drive.
Accolade number two: This year's blood drive collection of 280 pints also far surpassed the American Red Cross’ goal of 252. The American Red Cross is currently experiencing a winter shortage of blood, so this huge collection will greatly help countless people. Clinton Township Blood Drive Chairman Paul Gieleghem spoke glowingly of the team effort behind the massive endeavor, telling Macomb Daily the drive was a “true community partnership.”
