Free Tax Service Offered to Low-Income Families, Individuals in Clinton Township
Rep. Marilyn Lane has organized three events for her constituents in House District 31 to receive professional help preparing their tax returns.

With state and federal tax deadlines less than two months away, Clinton Township Rep. Marilyn Lane (D-Fraser) is hosting a series of events in House District 31 to help low-income constituents get the most from their returns.
Eligibility for this free service is based on an annual household income of $50,000 or less for families and $35,000 or less for individuals.
The events, held March 2, 8 and 15, will pair taxpayers with representatives of the Accounting Aid Society for one-on-one help preparing their tax returns.

- Saturday, March 2, Clinton-Macomb Public Library, 40900 Romeo Plank Rd., Clinton Township
- Friday, March 8, Fraser Senior Activity Center, 34935 Hidden Pine Dr., in Fraser
- Friday, March 15, Park Place Towers, 34 Park St., Mount Clemens
As these events have very limited space, they are by appointment only. Those interested should call John Fleming at 517-373-0159 or email him at jfleming@house.mi.gov to schedule an appointment as soon as possible. If you are unable to make one of these dates, a special date and time can be set.
