Freedom Hill to Host Low-Cost Vaccine Clinic for Pets March 23
The clinic will be held on Saturday, March 23, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at Freedom Hill Amphitheatre, 14900 Metropolitan Parkway in Sterling Heights.

It is a well-known fact that though adorable, pets are expensive.
To help Macomb County pet owners better care for their four-legged friends, the Macomb County Animal Shelter and nonprofit All About Animals Rescue have partnered to offer a low-cost vaccine clinic this weekend.
“We want to make sure that the shelter is a positive resource for the community,” said Jeff Randazzo, animal care and control manager of the Macomb County Animal Shelter, in a statement. "This is part of our ongoing effort to promote animal safety and welfare.”

"It only takes one bite from an infected mosquito to pose a risk to your pet. It is recommend to at least do heartworm prevention from April to November every year for dogs and cats."
All services offered at the clinic will be cash only, with discounted flea and heartworm preventives also available. Some of the shelter’s adoptable cats and dogs will also be present and looking for new homes.
