Find out what hours your community allows trick-or-treating.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — It’s that time of year when kids of all ages dress up for the night and prowl neighborhoods in search of candy and other goodies — a.k.a Halloween! Officials trick-or-treat times vary from community to community, according to local officials.

In Clinton Township, the police department said it’s not uncommon for young children to start at about 5:30 p.m. with parents. The official township time, however is from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m.

In St. Clair Shores, police said the city does not regulate trick-or-treat hours. So, homeowners can probably expect to see a variety of super heroes, ghosts, witches and clowns well past 8 p.m.
