L’Anse Creuse Foundation Scholarship Raffle Being Held

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI. – The L’Anse Creuse Foundation is now selling tickets for a “Scholarship Sweepstakes” 50/50 raffle, giving purchasers the chance to win up to $10,000 for a child’s college fund.

This 50/50 raffle has two prize options. The winner can choose to take 50 percent of the total amount and invest it into an eligible college savings account, or you may take a 40 percent lump sum amount to spend as they wish.

The minimum payout is $1,000 and the maximum amount is $10,000. One thousand tickets are available, and there is no limit to how many tickets can be purchased. The drawing of the winning ticket will take place on March 28, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the Harry L. Wheeler Community Center and Administrative Offices.

It is not necessary to be present at the drawing; the winner will be notified.
Tickets cost $20 each and can be purchased online, by phone at (586) 783-6300 ext. 1214, or in person at the Community Relations office of the Wheeler Center (Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.).

Foundation representatives will also be selling tickets on-site at school conferences and other events. The Harry L. Wheeler Community Center and Administrative Offices is located at 24076 F. V. Pankow Blvd.
