Macomb County Coronavirus Update: 66,775 Cases, 1,918 Deaths
Michigan on Wednesday reported its highest single-day increase in coronavirus cases since December.
MACOMB COUNTY, MI — More than 66,000 cases of the coronavirus have been confirmed in Macomb County, according to the most recent COVID-19 data released Wednesday by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.
According to the data, 66,775 cases of the virus have been confirmed in Macomb County. The state also reported Wednesday that 1,918 people in Macomb County have died from COVID-19.
Michigan as a whole reported its highest single-day increase in new coronavirus cases since December on Wednesday. The state reported 6,311 new COVID-19 cases and 10 more deaths.

The new figures bring Michigan's coronavirus totals to 672,259 confirmed cases and 16,092 deaths, according to the state data.
