Macomb County Coronavirus Update: 67,700 Cases, 1,928
Michigan added 6,036 new cases of the coronavirus on Thursday.
MACOMB COUNTY, MI — More than 67,000 cases of the coronavirus have been reported in Macomb County, according to the most recent COVID-19 data released by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services on Thursday.
According to the data released Thursday, Macomb County has reported 67,700 confirmed cases of the virus and 1,928 COVID-19 deaths.
As a whole, Michigan added 6,036 new cases of the coronavirus and 49 more COVID-19 deaths Thursday. Thirty-three of the deaths were identified through a records review and occurred previously, the state said.

The updated figures bring Michigan's overall numbers to 678,295 confirmed coronavirus cases and 16,141 reported deaths.
On Saturday, Michigan reported that 569,460 people in the state had recovered from the virus.
