Macomb County Man Faces Drug Charges, Accused Of Dealing Fentanyl
The Macomb County Sheriff's Office said it arrested a man accused of dealing fentanyl in Macomb County.
MACOMB COUNTY, MI — An undercover sheriff's unit recently arrested and charged a man the Macomb County Sheriff's Office said was dealing fentanyl in Macomb County, officials said Tuesday.
Jonathan Lindsay, a.k.a., “White Boy Joe," 27, of Sterling Heights, was arraigned Friday in 38th District Court on three felonies, including delivery/manufacture less than 50 grams of a controlled substance, receiving and concealing firearms and possession of a firearm by a felony, according to the sheriff's office. Lindsay also was charged with one misdemeanor count of maintaining a drug house, police said.
According to the Macomb County Sheriff's Office, deputies from the Sheriff's Enforcement Team (SET) and the county's drug enforcement agency's Fantom Team executive search warrants on homes in Detroit and Sterling Heights on Wednesday. Investigators found weapons, narcotics and arrested Lindsay during the search, according to officials.

SET had been investigating a tip about a person selling Fentanyl to people in Macomb County and also enlisting others to sell the drug, officials said. During the investigation, SET officials said they were led to Lindsay, who they said went by the street name "White Boy Joe."
Officials executed a search warrant on a home on Burke in Sterling Heights where Linday was living and found several cell phones, cash and a money counting machine, police said. They also found keys to a second home in Detroit, police said.

A search warrant for the Detroit home led investigators to find several weapons, ammunition, cell phones, narcotic packaging materials and fentanyl, according to investigators. One of the weapons had been reported stolen and the others were unregistered, police said.
Lindsey was lodged in the Macomb County Jail on $25,000 bail, police said. He is scheduled to return to court on Feb. 2 for a probable cause conference.
