Police Find Nude Woman Running Through Traffic On Gratiot Ave.

CLINTON TOWNSHIP, MI — A 23-year-old nude woman running through traffic on Gratiot Ave. in Clinton Township has been committed to McLaren Macomb hospital, according to police.

Officers were dispatched to the area of Gratiot Ave. north of Metropolitan Parkway on the evening of Nov. 12 after receiving a flurry of calls about a naked woman in the street.

According to Macomb Daily, officers quickly realized it was a mental health issue and transported the woman to McLaren Macomb hospital on a mental petition. It's not known how long the woman will be treated.
