MACOMB COUNTY, MI — More than 450 Moderna vaccinations are available Monday for people 18 and older at the Lakeside Mall drive-thru in Sterling Heights thanks to the Department of Military and Veterans Affairs.

The vaccines will be administered at a clinic that will be hosted through a partnership between the county and MVAA as well as the Michigan National Guard, according to a news release.

“Our first vaccination clinic was highly successful, and we want to keep the momentum going,” MVAA Director Zaneta Adams said. “There are tens of thousands of people in Metro Detroit who deserve the highest-quality of care and access to medical benefits like the COVID vaccine. These clinics are integral in helping people get vaccinated.”
