Police Arrest A 39-Year-Old Man Following Undercover Child Sex Investigation
Police say the suspect reportedly expressed a willingness to meet with who he thought was an underage female for sexual activity.

MACOMB COUNTY, MI — A Trenton man is sitting in Macomb County Jail following a Child Sexually Abusive Activity investigation, according to a police report.
The investigation began on Jan. 24 when a detective with the Macomb County Sheriff’s Computer Crimes team saw an advertisement on a popular computer website. Police say the detective posed as an underage female, answered the advertisement and engaged in a 'chat' with an individual - who was later determined to be 39-year-old Shawn Wayne Miller of Trenton. According to police, Miller reportedly expressed a willingness to meet with who he thought was an underage female for the purposes of sexual activity.
Later that same day, police say Miller allegedly sent text messages and drove to a pre-arranged location in Macomb County, thinking he was going to meet the child. However, Miller was instead met by police and arrested.
