Who Has The Best Mac And Cheese In Macomb County? Vote On It.
In Macomb County, residents can take part in "Mac Madness."
MACOMB COUNTY, MI — Sixteen Macomb County restaurants are competing in a March Madness-style tournament to determine which has the best housemade macaroni and cheese, and voting begins Monday.
Mac Madness: Best Mac in the Mac was launched in March by the Macomb County Department of Planning and Economic Development. The county developed a bracket mimicing the NCAA college basketball tournament. Residents can vote on the Make Macomb Your Home Facebook page.
“There are plenty of delicious, made-from-scratch pasta dishes here in Macomb County and I think we all have our favorites,” MCPED Director Vicky Rowinski said. “It is meant to be a fun contest that we hope will inspire the public to dine-in or carry-out from a new restaurant. It’s just one small way we can all do our part to help them survive as we get through the pandemic.”
