2 Dearborn Baseball Teams To Face Off In Minor League Stadium

Dearborn High School and Edsel Ford High School will play at Fifth Third Field on April 29.

DEARBORN, MI — Two high school baseball teams in Dearborn will travel to Toledo on April 29 to play in a minor league baseball stadium.

Dearborn High School and Edsel Ford High School will travel to Fifth Third Field on April 29 to play under the lights of the stadium the Toledo Mudhens — a minor league affiliate of the Detroit Tigers — play in.

“It’s a really cool experience for our players, coaches and parents,” Dearborn High School Athletic Director Jeff Conway said. “The folks at Fifth Third make it memorable by putting the players’ names on the scoreboard, playing walk up music and stuff like that. It will only be made better by having two Dearborn schools playing each other and throwing a crosstown rivalry into the mix.
