UM-Dearborn Campus Cleared After Armed Man Reported
Campus officials said it is safe to return to normal activities after an armed person was reported near campus.
DEARBORN, MI — The all-clear has been given at the University of Michigan-Dearborn campus, where an armed man had been reported in a wooded area near the Henry Ford Estate Monday morning.
Campus authorities shortly after noon on Monday said it was safe to return to normal activities after reporting around 11 a.m. that an armed man had been seen in the wooded area near the Henry Ford Estate.
DEARBORN: 1105 Armed Person reported u of m dearborn, wooded area near henry ford estate. Avoid area. Only call 911 for help or with info about the incident.

Officials initially told people to avoid the area, alerting students and staff via text message of the incident.
