Camp Dearborn Hosts Fishing Derby

From Dearborn Parks & Rec: The 21st Annual Children’s Fishing Derby, sponsored by the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department and Eppinger Manufacturing Company, will be conducted July 9 at Camp Dearborn, beginning at 8 a.m. The event will feature competition in four age groups—3-5, 6-8, 9-11 and 12-15—and prizes will be awarded for the biggest fish and the most fish in each age group.

Participation in the event—which will take place on Eppinger Lake—is free with a paid gate admission to Camp Dearborn, and the first 100 kids registering on site will receive a free t-shirt.
