Curbside Yard Waste Pickup Begins March 15
Yard waste must be placed in the properly marked containers at least three feet away from their trash and recycling containers.
DEARBORN, MI – Residents are encouraged to put their yard waste out on their trash collection day as curbside yard waste pickup is set to begin on March 15.
Yard waste must be placed in the properly marked containers at least three feet away from their trash and recycling containers. Yard waste should not be placed in the street.
Acceptable yard waste containers include paper bags or 20-32 gallon containers that are clearly marked with a yard waste sticker, which are available at Henry Ford Centennial Library, Esper Branch Library and the Dearborn Administrative Center.

Yard waste that is placed in plastic bags or cardboard boxes will not be picked up.
Grass clipping, weeds, leaves, shrubs and brush trimmings are considered yard waste. Fruit, vegetables, animal droppings and seasonal decorations are not included and will not be picked up.
