Dearborn Coronavirus Vaccines: Slots Still Available, City Says
Dearborn still has COVID-19 vaccination slots available for people age 65 and older Thursday, city officials said.
DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn still has COVID-19 vaccination slots available for people age 65 and older Thursday, city officials said.
The city announced Wednesday it was offering 500 appointments to residents over 65. The limited number of appointments would help the city test its online system for scheduling appointments, officials said. Appointments must be made online, officials said.
Vaccinations are appointment only and will take place at the Ford Community and Performing Arts Center, 15801 Michigan Ave.

Vaccines are being administered by the Dearborn Fire Department. Moderna vaccines will be administered Thursday. Once residents receive their first shot they will receive an appointment for their second shot.
The city expects more appointments to open soon via its online scheduling system, officials said, noting that there is hope that the city can operate its vaccination center on a regular basis for people who reserve their slot through the online appointment system.
