The City Of Dearborn Declares A Snow Emergency Informing Residents To Park Cars In Driveways To Allow For Snow Plows To Clean The Streets

DEARBORN, MI- The City of Dearborn has declared a snow emergency effective at 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Starting at 9 p.m. all parked vehicles should be removed from the streets to allow for snowplows to plow the streets. Parked vehicles in the streets will be ticketed. Outdoor sirens will be going off as a reminder of the snow emergency and reminder that parked cars on the street should be removed.

The snow emergency will remain in effect until further notice. The City of Dearborn has provided a link here of where to park cars for residents who live in neighborhoods with limited driveways, where the city has created special snow emergency parking areas.
