Dearborn Heights Toddler Dies After A Table Reportedly Fell On Her At Head Start School
3-year-old Lilliana Jade Kerr reportedly died after a table structure fell on her during recess at her Dearborn Heights Head Start school.

DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — A three-year-old has girl died from fatal injuries after a table-like structure reportedly fell on her during recess, according to a press release.
At approximately 11:00 a.m. on Jan. 20 at a Head Start school in Dearborn Heights, a table-like structure attached to the wall reportedly fell on Lilliana Jade Kerr.
The toddler was rushed to Oakwood Beaumont Hospital yet was pronounced dead due to her injuries shortly after she arrived, according to the press release. Kerr leaves behind a twin sister, 9-year-old brother and her mother, Tabatha. Grief counseling is reportedly being made available to all students and staff at the school.

The incident is currently under investigation.
A Go Fund Me account has been created to help pay for Kerr's funeral, and donations totaling $18,000 have already poured in. Also, there will be a charity all-you-can eat spaghetti dinner at Walkers Speakeasy (8701 N Beech Daly Rd., Dearborn Heights) on Jan. 27 from 11:00 a.m. until closing to benefit Kerr's family. Bands and DJs have offered to donate their time and there will be a raffle.
