Dearborn Jewelry Heist Investigated By Police

Police said two men, armed with handguns, entered Hak's Jewelry around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole assorted items.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn police are asking for the public's help in identifying two men believed to be involved in a jewelry heist that took place at Hak's Jewelry Wednesday evening.

Police said two men, armed with handguns, entered Hak's Jewelry around 5:30 p.m. Wednesday and stole assorted items. The men drove away from the scene in a black late-model Jeep Grand Cherokee with 5-point star rims, police said.

“Brazen acts of violent crime will not be tolerated in the City of Dearborn, and with the assistance of the community, the suspects will be brought to justice," Dearborn Chief of Police Ronald Haddad said.

Police described one of the men as around 6-foot-3-inches tall, of slim build, and the other as around 5-foot-8-inches tall and of medium build.
