Dearborn Murder Suspect 'Armed And Dangerous', Police Say

Dearborn police are looking for a man they suspect of shooting two people, killing one, on Tuesday.

DEARBORN, MI — Dearborn police are looking for information relating to a double-shooting Tuesday that left a 24-year-old man dead.

According to police, a group of people got into a fight with the person suspected in the shooting in the area of Oakman and Michigan before 9 p.m. Tuesday. The suspect pulled a handgun and shot two people, police said.

One victim — a 24-year-old man — was taken to Beaumont-Oakwood hospital, where he died, police said. The second victim had minor injuries and has been released from the hospital, according to police.

“We will leave no stone unturned and will utilize all available resources to solve this heinous crime," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. "Our thoughts and prayers go out to the families of the victims. I urge the community to speak out and help us bring the person responsible to justice.”

The suspect fled the scene in a blue Chevrolet Impala and should be considered armed and dangerous, police said.
