Dearborn PD Investigating Fatal Shooting From Sunday

Dearborn, MI — Detectives from the Dearborn Police Department are investigating a fatal shooting they said took place around 6 p.m. Sunday in the 2700 block of Holly.

Officers said they responded to the address following reports that a 26-year-old had been shot. First responders transported victim to a local hospital where they died, police said.

Police said the shooting does not appear to be random.

“This is a tragic situation and our condolences go out to the family of the victim," Dearborn Police Chief Ronald Haddad said. "The Dearborn Police Department will use all available resources to apprehend the person(s) involved. We are urging the public to come forward with information regarding this crime.”
