Dearborn Plans To Reopen Admin Center June 15
Officials said customers will be required to wear masks for entry into the building and capacity rules will be in place.

DEARBORN, MI — The city is planning to reopen the Dearborn Administrative Center to the public beginning June 15, with strict safety provisions in place, officials said in a news release Monday.
City officials said the intent is for the center to open to public from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Mondays through Thursdays and to remain closed to the public on Fridays.
“We are proceeding with care to ensure when we reopen buildings, and reinstate more city services, we are prioritizing your health,” Mayor John B. O’Reilly, Jr. said. “We are here to serve you for the long term, and to do so effectively, we must first give you and our employees the tools and protocols to stay safe for the long term.”

As of Monday, the city said it was also reviewing opportunities for additional recreation facilities to reopen. Officials said they expect for information to be available later in the week regarding the status of splash pads, playgrounds and other facilities that garner a high interest from the public.
Some services that would bring people to the administrative center, such as paying city bills, requesting a building permit or other paperwork, are available online. Officials are asking residents to see if what they need is available online before vising the center to reduce traffic.
