Dearborn Police Host 'Toys For Tots' Event
Help the Dearborn Police collect toys for children this holiday.

DEARBORN, MI — You can make a child's holiday spectacular this year by donating an unwrapped toy to the Dearborn Police, according to a press release.
Mark your calendar for Dec. 15 from 6:00 a.m. – 10:00 a.m. and drive by the Dearborn Police Station (16099 Michigan Ave.) where Police Officers will be standing in front of the station accepting unwrapped new toys on behalf of this year’s “Toys for Tots” campaign. Cash contributions are always appreciated as well. If you can't make it that day, drop off "Toys for Tots" boxes are located in the lobby of the Dearborn Police Station.
The press release states, "The U.S. Marine Corps is a shining example of courage, commitment, and patriotism. In recent decades this corps of fighting men and woman has also become known for their charitable efforts. The Marine Toys for Tots Foundation is an organization dedicated to bringing the Christmas spirit into homes that are suffering from the scourge of poverty. The Marine Corps Toys for Tots program is not simply a giveaway program. It’s also an effort to bring joy into the lives of little ones struggling to survive."
