Dearborn Residents Over 50 Now Eligible For COVID-19 Vaccine

People over 50 with qualifying conditions are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine.

DEARBORN, MI – People over 50 with qualifying conditions are now eligible to receive the COVID-19 vaccine at a vaccine center at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center.

Vaccines are available for those who live in Dearborn Heights, Inkster, Redford, Allen Park, Garden City, Melvindale and Dearborn.

Those 65 and older in those communities also still qualify for the vaccine. Caregivers are also eligible.

Appointments are required and must be made online at cityofdearborn.org/covid. People who receive the first dose of the Moderna vaccine will be given a date for their second appointment.

The appointment-only vaccine clinics will run from 9 a.m. t0 5 p.m. through March 11 at 15801 Michigan Ave. Patients will be required to wear face masks and show their ID.
