Dearborn SOS Affected By Power Outages, Appointments Reassigned
Planning on heading to the Dearborn Secretary of State branch? Power outages might have thrown a wrench in your plans.

DEARBORN, MI — Anyone who scheduled an appointment at the Dearborn Secretary of State Monday may have to travel a little further for their business. Officials said Monday that a power outage in the area is making the branch unable to process transactions.
Instead, officials said those with appointments at that office can have their appointments honored at the Secretary of State branch on Bagley Street and West Grand Boulevard in Detroit, where staff has been reassigned.

Power outages have affected much of the Dearborn area. Some pockets of power outages around Dearborn include thousands of people, while others are smaller.

Wind damage caused the outage affecting the Dearborn Secretary of State, according to DTE. The estimated restoration time is noon on Tuesday, according to DTE.
