The City of Dearborn offers several options for disposal of storm-damaged tree debris and general yard waste. If tree limbs or other debris on your property fell from a tree that the city planted between the sidewalk and the easement, please call the DPW Public Service Division at 943-2107 for damage assessment and collection.

If you have tree limbs or other tree debris from your private property, there are three options for removal:

  • Cut and bundle all debris in three-foot long pieces and place them at the curb on your sanitation collection day. They will be picked up free of charge under these circumstances.
  • Call 943-2433 to schedule a special pick up. A minimum fee of $55 will apply.
  • The DPW Yard, 2951 Greenfield, will be accepting storm-damaged tree limbs the week of September 22-26 between the hours of 8 a.m. and 3 p.m.
