Dearborn's Dunworth Pool Hosts Prestigious Swim Meet
You won't be able to swim at the pool, but several others will offer open swimming. Get the details below.
Dearborn, MI — The Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department, along with the Dearborn Recreation Dolphins swim club, will host the prestigious U.S.S. Annual Swim Meet Friday through Sunday at Dunworth Pool.
The meet will feature swim teams and individual competitors from throughout the Midwest.
“We’re honored to work together with the Dearborn Recreation Dolphins, one of our many partnership organizations, to host up to 800 swimmers and their families from throughout the area for this annual event,” said Dearborn Recreation & Parks Director Greg Orner.

As the result of the meet, open swimming will not be offered at Dunworth Pool during these three days.

The opening of Dearborn’s other outdoor pool, Summer Stephens, will be delayed due to the unscheduled replacement of the facility’s electrical system.
