DETROIT, MI – Former Rep. John Dingell has been hospitalized after falling. The 91-year-old former lawmaker sent a light-hearted tweet on Tuesday, saying that he was "feeling good" and "particularly glad I'm not horse."
"If you’re lucky enough to make it to 91 years old, pay attention to where you’re walking," he said in the tweet from George Washington University Hospital in Washington, D.C.
Dingell's wife, Rep. Debbie Dingell shared in a Facebook post that he was fine and "charming the pants off anyone that will listen with his stories. But he is stubborn and independent and listens to no one." She said in the post that he suffered no broken bones, but "wounded pride."

If you’re lucky enough to make it to 91 years old, pay attention to where you’re walking. Took a fall and ended up hanging out here at @GWHospital with a bum leg. Feeling good though. Particularly glad I’m not a horse.
