Hall of Fame Nomination Deadline Approaching
The Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department will present the awards in April.

DEARBORN, MI – Nominations for the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department’s Hall of Fame and Special Awards Hall of Fame are due Feb. 1.
The Hall of Fame honors athletes, and the Special Award Hall of Fame recognizes the contributions of sponsors, managers, officials, coaches and administrators.

Applications must be submitted to the service desk of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center by 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 1.
Nomination forms are available in the lobby of the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center and online.

Candidates for either award may be nominated by any Dearborn resident. Applicants will be evaluated by the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Commission solely upon their participation in, or affiliation with, sports programs sponsored by the Dearborn Recreation & Parks Department.
To be eligible, nominees must be retired from active participation in Recreation & Parks Department-sponsored sports programs for a minimum of three years.
New members of both organizations will be honored at the Annual Sports Awards Ceremony on April 17.
