Here's Your Chance to be Dearborn Calendar Gardener
If you're relentless about clipping the grass and raking up the leaves, the city wants you in a photo shoot.

Before you head out to work in your lawn this weekend, think about this: All that toil and sweat could pay off if your lawn is selected for a photograph in the 2016 Dearborn calendar.
The city of Dearborn is looking for a few homeowners who would be willing to be featured in the calendar, which will showcase well-kept lawns to emphasize the importance of the proper care of lawns and gardens, according to a news release.
Photographs of people cutting their grass and performing other maintenance in their yards must be taken before Sept. 8.
