So my prediction is that an average student could miss a year or two of school without major long-term effects. Their standardized test score would be lower at the end of the two years they missed than some other student who had been in school the whole time. But after a short period they would equalize again. I don’t think you need to burn yourself out working overtime to send your kid to a private school, I don’t think you need to risk your immunocompromised kid’s health to send her to the classroom, I think you can just chill. I want to present some of the evidence that makes me think this.

Before you head out to work in your lawn this weekend, think about this: All that toil and sweat could pay off if your lawn is selected for a photograph in the 2016 Dearborn calendar.The city of Dearborn is looking for a few homeowners who would be willing to be featured in the calendar, which will showcase well-kept lawns to emphasize the importance of the proper care of lawns and gardens, according to a news release.Photographs of people cutting their grass and performing other maintenance in their yards must be taken before Sept. 8. As leaves start to drop, the city needs to photograph residents raking their lawns, so let officials know if you want like to be featured doing that seasonal chore. Those photographs must be taken by Oct. 16.If you are interested in being photographed for the calendar, let the Department of Public Information know as soon as possible by calling at (313) 943-2285. Photographs may also be used for other educational and promotional materials, social media and press releases.
