Man Drives Wrong Way on Michigan Ave., Gets Arrested for Drunken Driving
When asked by police how much he had to drink, the driver's response was "Too much."

A 31-year-old man was arrested for drunken driving around 3 a.m. on Dec. 15, after police witnessed him driving west in the eastbound lanes of Michigan Avenue near Telegraph Road in Dearborn.
The man, driving an orange 2007 Dodge Caliber, told police he was heading from Belleville to Flint, approximately a one-hour drive.
It was clear to police when speaking with the driver that he had been drinking because he smelled of alcohol and had glassy red eyes, according to the police report.
When police asked the man directly how much he had to drink that night, his response was "Too much."
Police then asked the man to recite the alphabet from the letter D to the letter L, and he responded by reciting letters E through H. He also failed to count backwards from 96 to 84, counting only 95, 93 and 81.
Police administered a breathalyzer test on the scene. He had a blood-alcohol level of .155 percent, about double the state’s .08 percent drunken driving limit.
The man's car was towed and he was arrested for operating a vehicle while intoxicated. His license was also confiscated and destroyed.
