Representatives of the Artspace development team and members of the East Dearborn Downtown Development Authority will be on hand at two sessions on Tuesday, July 21.

The first, at 1 p.m., will be held in the conference room at Bryant Library, 22100 Michigan Ave., and is for organizations and creative businesses interested in leasing commercial space in vibrant mixed-use arts campus

The second session, for prospective residential tenants in live/work housing, takes place at 6 p.m. at the Ford Community & Performing Arts Center (Club Room 1), 15801 Michigan Ave. Prospective residential tenants will learn about the application process, income and eligibility criteria, and more about living in an Artspace building.

The development consists of three buildings: the City Hall Building, the West Annex Building, and the Concourse. The historic City Hall and West Annex buildings will house the residential units, community room, outdoor patio, and corridor art galleries.

The Concourse Building, built in 1980, connects City Hall and the West Annex and will provide small business incubator space, art galleries, community meeting/classroom space, office space, and individual co-working studios.

Construction is under way, with completion expected in late 2016.

Additional information sessions will be scheduled in the coming months. Dates, times and locations will be announced as they are set and will be posted on the Dearborn Artspace.org website.
