Note there are special instructions for residents in the Friday trash district in the Ford Historic Homes District on streets that usually participate in the Edison Street Sale, which is Saturday, June 3.

To allow for the better flow of traffic on the morning of the street sale, the city’s trash contractor will be picking up trash on Friday afternoon in that district only. The contractor will return early on Saturday morning to pick up additional trash set out. The streets most affected are Edison, Gregory, Francis, Beech, Olmstead and Nowlin.
