Join The Center for Michigan, The League of Women Voters Dearborn-Dearborn Heights (LWVDD) and The American Association of University Women-Dearborn (AAUW-D) for this Michigan Truth Tour
stop in Dearborn! The public is welcome to attend this free community event! Light refreshments will also be served.
Come to our screening of the documentary "Michigan Divided"and a follow up discussion from 10:00-11:30 am. This 2017 film chronicles the lives of Michigan voters across the political spectrum. From the Upper Peninsula, to Lansing, to Flint, Detroit, Grand Rapids and Jackson, the resulting, hour-long
“Michigan Divided” documentary captures our deeply divided culture, but also brings partisans together and illustrates how,at heart, there are also some values that are shared.
In addition to the screening of the film and discussion,candidate profiles, proposal information, and sample ballots for the November election will be available to all participants from LWVDD,www.lwvddh.org. AAUW-D, dearborn-mi.aauw.net, will be accepting donations to the Vista Maria Human Trafficking Outreach program at this event. Cash,checks made out to Vista Maria, hygiene, baby, and house cleaning
items are needed.
