Suspect, Two Victims Dead In Dearborn Heights Shooting: Report
The suspect was killed after firing at responding officers, according to reports.
DEARBORN HEIGHTS, MI — Three people are dead following a shooting in Dearborn Heights on Saturday. According to a report by The Detroit News, a suspect and two victims are among the dead.
Dearborn Heights police tweeted about the shooting earlier on Saturday, advising residents to avoid the area near Cherry Hill and Inkster roads while officers investigated.

The shooting happened around 1:30 p.m. at the Cherry Hill Apartment complex in Dearborn Heights, The Detroit News reported, citing Michigan State Police. The suspect shot two people before firing at responding officers. The suspect was killed during the incident, the report said.

Neighbors told the newspaper they saw a neighbor on the back balcony with an AK-47.
Names of the suspect and victims have not been released.
